Lara is an outpatient!

16 Eylul'de yapilan ilik testinin sonucuna gore, Lara'nin tedavisine evden devam edilebilinecek.:))))Tedaviye yine yogun bir sekilde devam edilecek. Bir cogunun annesinin tarafindan yapilmasi geren 18 igne, haplar, kan testleri, gerektiginde kan nakli, 4 kez omurilik sıvısından ornek alinmasi (lumbar punctures) ve haftanin 1 gününü klinikde gecirmek.
Ama bu haberin en guzel yani ise, EVDE OLMAK, ailenin bir arada olmasi ve herkezin kendi yataginda yatiyor olmasi.

Bugun 3ncu Kemoterapiye baslandi.

Lara started her new round of chemo today. She was at the clinic from 9am to 3pm. And then we came home!!! The results of the marrow test were good enough for Dr. Loh to try to have her do this round as outpatient. Not that it's going to be a cakewalk - four lumbar punctures, 18 shots (most of them to be administered by mom), numerous pills, blood draws, probably some blood transfusions, and the whole gamut ofpichemo side effects. But barring any complications or nasty surprises, we will be sleeping at home. We are soooooo happy about it!
